AmnioFix is a composite amniotic tissue membrane, minimally manipulated to protect the collagen matrix and its natural properties. It’s a tissue allograft composed of dehydrated human amnion/chorion membrane (dhacm). AmnioFix^® is a minimally manipulated, dehydrated, non-viable cellular amniotic membrane allograft that contains multiple extracellular matrix proteins, growth factors, cytokines, and other regulatory proteins present in amniotic tissue to provide a barrier membrane that enhances healing of soft tissue.

AmnioFix^® is prepared using the Purion Process, which provides the following:

• Minimal manipulation to retain natural collagens and growth factors
• Dehydrated amniotic membrane allograft for easy handling
• Room temperature storage and five-year shelf life
• Sterilized packaging to simplify introduction onto the sterile field
